The COVID-19 pandemic has brought the world to a standstill with people contracting the virus and succumbing to it in large numbers. The global pandemic has put enormous pressure on the healthcare system with frontline workers like doctors and nurses working round-the-clock trying to save the masses.
During this crisis, Saint-Gobain has been going the extra mile in every way possible to reach out with timely assistance. The leading glass manufacturer has once again lent a helping hand to the Indian government by donating an oxygen generation plant in Rajasthan to aid the masses in their road to recovery from the virus. Dr. Raghu Sharma, Hon’ble Health Minister of Rajasthan inaugurated the Oxygen generation plant at Mahila Chikitsalaya in Jaipur. It has been airlifted from France with the support of the French Government and the French embassy in India. In addition to the oxygen generation plant, the organisation has also assisted the state of Rajasthan with oxygen cylinders, PPE kits and other vital medical equipment and supplies.
