Kamala Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust, a renowned philanthropic organization, once again demonstrated its dedication to public welfare by organizing a Cancer Detection and Awareness Camp specifically for policewomen in Maharashtra. The event aimed to raise awareness about cancer prevention, early detection, and provide essential resources to empower policewomen to detect and fight cancer. The camp took place at Mira Road Police Commissioner office and the Maharashtra Lady Police Department actively participated in this crucial initiative.
During the camp, policewomen from Maharashtra underwent cancer screening tests to detect any early signs of the disease. The trust conducted awareness sessions to educate the policewomen about the importance of regular screenings and adopting a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, the participants were provided with information about available resources, support networks, and counseling services for cancer patients.
Ms. Nidarshana Gowani, the esteemed leader of the Trust, who was also the chief guest at the event stated, “Our mission is to ensure the health and well-being of all individuals, irrespective of their profession. Policewomen dedicate themselves to safeguarding our communities, and it is our responsibility to care for their well-being.” She further added, “By organizing this Cancer Detection and Awareness Camp, we hope to empower these brave policewomen with knowledge, support, and resources needed to combat cancer effectively.” She expressed her gratitude to all the doctors and nurses along with Ms Neeta More and Ms Minal Parab from CPAA for making the event a grand success.
This event underscores the Trust’s unwavering commitment to the betterment of society. In addition to providing basic necessities such as food and education, the Trust actively engages in healthcare initiatives, including organizing cancer screening camps, HPV vaccination drives, and counseling sessions focused on promoting good health practices. By providing access to accurate diagnoses and timely care, the Trust has positively impacted the lives of numerous individuals across the nation.
The commendable efforts of the Kamala Ankibai Ghamandiram Gowani Trust have also garnered international recognition. Their work is an investment in the nation’s future, driven by the belief that empowerment and compassion are instrumental in creating a brighter tomorrow for all. The Trust, led by Ms. Nidarshana Gowani, continues to make a profound difference in the lives of those in need, epitomizing the ideals of inclusivity, gender equality, and compassion.
